Shawn and Priscilla are great hosts! They reached out before our arrival to tell us about their land, things to do, and places to visit. Our stay was amazing. We pulled into the farm and the cows were ready to greet us! We highly recommend this space if you want to be close to the city life but wake up to the sights of farm land!

The farm is absolutely BEAUTIFUL even in the middle of winter. We loved getting to visit with the adorable Highland Cows. The place was exactly as described and very comfortable but what stood out the most was the Hospitality! From the water bottles waiting in the fridge, the fresh flowers and most importantly the gelato. I am allergic to strawberries and the treat that was left for us was a strawberry flavor. when I mentioned this to Shawn he sent the sweetest lady (Tonya) with the most delicious dark chocolate gelato. Your definitely missing out if this farm is not your place to go on your next trip to Jefferson City, Tennessee! We look forward to staying again.!!

Barndo was very clean & modern. Everything had a dedicated place. It was beautifully decorated and on trend. The bed was very comfortable. The linens were clean. There is a washer/dryer which was very nice to be able to do a load of wash during my stay. We did an activity at their farm across the street and got to meet their highland cows and have a gelato/coffee date. The guide was great and we had a good time. Overall the value was great compared to other farm experiences I’ve tried. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if I’m in the area.

We had an amazing stay on the farm! The place was spotless and cozy, and they even had fresh cold water waiting for us in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The catfish pond was beautiful, and getting to see the cows up close was awesome. The whole property had such a peaceful vibe. The only downside was the weather — it was colder than we expected — but that’s no fault of the host. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back when it’s warmer! Highly recommend.

Our stay at this small barndo Airbnb was absolutely amazing. We did encounter a small mishap when we went to lay down and rest, but the host responded immediately, was incredibly respectful, and quickly moved us into a new unit, making the situation completely stress free. The property was peaceful and quiet with beautiful scenery, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, especially the sweet treats waiting for us in the freezer and the option to collect fresh farm eggs. Everything was so easy, from check-in to knowing exactly where to go to gather eggs when we left. We would definitely recommend staying here and can’t say enough good things about how responsive, kind, and thoughtful the hosts are.

This place is super peaceful and cozy, I didnt get a chance to pet any highland cows which sucks, but I really did enjoy the farm stay, its really peaceful and calming in the middle of the night, your right in front of a lake, its very relaxing, no annoying city light pollution and you can see a really clear view of the night sky, I really enjoyed my stay here, I have never felt so relaxed.

It was amazing. It was absolutely a luxury apartment. There were plenty of amenities. It was very quiet. There was a selection of books available. Two TVs one in the bedroom one in the living room they even had cold water in the fridge. It was all eco-friendly, no plastics eco-friendly soaps. They had creamer and coffee, even an espresso machine, and there were a little ice creams in the freezer I absolutely loved it there and I definitely would come there every time.

Shawn’s was an amazing host. We arrived at the location little bit late than anticipated but even at that time he responded to our needs. People managing his property were also very friendly and helpful. They talked really great about Shawn and were helpful in giving us farm tour. Their gelato was really amazing. Even though it was just for one day we had an amazing time. I’ll recommend Shawn’s place to my friends and anyone who wants to get away from city noise and their busy work life.

Wonderful property and host. Tranquil country setting yet still very close to conveniences. The hosts' attention to detail is unmatched. The home offers a good supply of bedding, towels and other necessities.. Fresh eggs were a treat and the gelato is fabulous. Fishing in the pond was fun even though the BIG fish broke the line we brought. Visiting family in the area just became a mini vacation with this accommodation. The Mad Ox is a quick 5 minute drive and has wonderful burgers and mac n cheese bowls. Looking forward to a return trip! No real issues. The house has only 1 bath. We were aware before arriving, and managed just fine with 6 adults. Might be worth adding a rocking chair upgrade option for those traveling with babies.
