We recommend a car for travel to the lake or nearby shopping. We recommend pontoon boat rental from Black Oak Marina on Cherokee Lake (5 miles away) for the day. Another option is to go to Douglas Lake (15 miles away) for the day. There are several boat rental options there as well.

Propriété et hôtes merveilleux. Cadre champêtre paisible tout en étant très proche des commodités. L'attention portée aux détails par les hôtes est inégalée. La maison offre un bon stock de literie, de serviettes et d'autres nécessités. Les œufs frais étaient un vrai régal et la glace artisanale est fabuleuse. La pêche dans l'étang était amusante, même si le GROS poisson a cassé la ligne que nous avions apportée. Venir rendre visite à la famille dans la région s'est transformé en mini-vacances grâce à ce logement. Le Mad Ox est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture et propose d'excellents burgers et des bols de macaronis au fromage. Nous avons hâte de revenir ! Aucun vrai problème. La maison n'a qu'une seule salle de bain. Nous en étions conscients avant d'arriver et nous nous en sommes très bien sortis à 6 adultes. Il pourrait être intéressant d'ajouter une option de fauteuil à bascule pour ceux qui voyagent avec des bébés. Wonderful property and host. Tranquil country setting yet still very close to conveniences. The hosts' attention to detail is unmatched. The home offers a good supply of bedding, towels and other necessities.. Fresh eggs were a treat and the gelato is fabulous. Fishing in the pond was fun even though the BIG fish broke the line we brought. Visiting family in the area just became a mini vacation with this accommodation. The Mad Ox is a quick 5 minute drive and has wonderful burgers and mac n cheese bowls. Looking forward to a return trip! No real issues. The house has only 1 bath. We were aware before arriving, and managed just fine with 6 adults. Might be worth adding a rocking chair upgrade option for those traveling with babies.

C'était absolument adorable. Nous reviendrons certainement ici. Mon amie qui voyageait avec moi cherche justement un lieu pour son mariage et je sais qu'elle est tombée amoureuse de l'endroit. J'aurais juste aimé qu'il y ait plus d'une salle de bain. It was absolutely adorable. We will definitely be staying here again my friend that was traveling with me is actually looking for a wedding venue and I know she fell in love with the venue. I do wish it had more than one bathroom

Nous avons adoré toute la propriété ! C'était confortable et dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Nous avons aimé nous promener sur le terrain pour voir les poules et les vaches. Le magnifique ciel du Tennessee était visible depuis la plupart de la propriété. Il y avait du gelato dans le congélateur, des fleurs fraîches, ainsi que des sodas et de l'eau qui nous attendaient dans la chambre. Tout était parfait ! We loved the entire property! It was comfortable and we walked in and felt right at home. Loved walking the property to see the chickens and cows. Beautiful Tennessee sky visible from most of the property. We had gelato in the freezer, fresh flowers, and soda and water waiting for us in the room. Everything was great!

Nous avons absolument adoré notre séjour dans ce Barndo idyllique. L'appartement était impeccable, ce qui nous a immédiatement mis à l'aise et fait sentir les bienvenus. Chaque détail a été pensé, des couettes moelleuses et des lits incroyablement confortables aux serviettes douces et propres et aux peignoirs douillets. Niché sur une ferme pittoresque, entouré de champs dorés de tournesols que vous pouvez cueillir (oui, vraiment !) et des œufs frais chaque matin rendent ce séjour vraiment unique et mémorable. L'une de nos touches préférées était la glace maison et la machine à espresso :) Rien de tel que de siroter un espresso avec une vue sur les tournesols qui ondulent dans la brise. Cet endroit est un véritable bijou : paisible, charmant, luxueux dans sa simplicité et plein de chaleur. Nous avons hâte de revenir ! Absolutely loved our stay at this idyllic Barndo. The apartment was immaculate which instantly made us feel at ease and welcomed. Every detail was considered, from the fluffy comforters and incredibly comfortable beds to the soft, clean towels and cozy robes. Nestled on a picturesque farm, surrounded by golden fields of sunflowers you're free to pick (yes, really! ) and fresh eggs each morning help make this a truly unique and memorable stay. One of our favorite touches was the homemade gelato and the espresso machine:) Nothing like sipping espresso with a view of sunflowers swaying in the breeze. This place is a true gem-peaceful, charming, luxurious in it's simplicity, and full of warmth. Can't wait to come back!

Barndo 2B était l'endroit idéal pour une escapade mère-fille à la ferme. Nous avons adoré le design européen, le mobilier élégant et la décoration, sans oublier l'incroyable parfum qui nous a accueillies. Les lits étaient super confortables et les fonctionnalités de la maison connectée étaient un vrai plus. De plus, il y avait des fleurs fraîches et un délicieux gelato qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée ! Le Wi-Fi était également excellent. Ma fille s'est éclatée à ramasser des œufs frais et à prendre des photos "dignes d'Instagram" partout sur la ferme, surtout près de l'étang. Un des moments forts a été l'expérience "Fluffy Cow Encounter" avec les vaches Highland écossaises de la ferme ! Nous avons nourri, brossé et câliné ces adorables animaux – et nous avons beaucoup appris au passage. C'était un vrai bonheur de créer un petit lien avec elles. Ma préférée était Trixie, tandis que ma fille s'est davantage attachée à Blondie. Nous avons aussi eu une rencontre rapprochée avec les ânes miniatures. Demandez quel est leur rôle à la ferme – vous serez surpris ! Cedar Pond Farms est un endroit vraiment spécial. Je reviendrais sans hésiter avec le reste de ma famille, pour une escapade entre filles, ou même une retraite romantique avec mon mari. Je recommande vivement ! Barndo 2B was the perfect setting for a mother-daughter getaway on the farm. We loved the European design, stylish furnishings, and decor, not to mention the amazing scent that greeted us. The beds were super comfortable, and the smart home features were a nice touch. Plus, there were fresh flowers and delicious gelato waiting for us upon arrival! The Wi-Fi was excellent too. My daughter had a blast picking fresh eggs and snapping “Instagram-worthy” photos all over the farm, especially near the pond. A major highlight was the "Fluffy Cow Encounter" experience with the farm's Scottish Highland cows! We fed, brushed, and cuddled these adorable animals - and learned a lot in the process. It was a joy to form a little bond with them. My favorite was Trixie, while my daughter connected more with Blondie. We also had a close encounter with the miniature donkeys. Ask about their role on the farm - you'll be surprised! Cedar Pond Farms is a truly special place. I would definitely return with the rest of my family, for a girls' getaway, or even a romantic retreat with my husband. Highly recommend!
