We recommend a car for travel to the lake or nearby shopping. We recommend pontoon boat rental from Black Oak Marina on Cherokee Lake (5 miles away) for the day. Another option is to go to Douglas Lake (15 miles away) for the day. There are several boat rental options there as well.

Quel voyage incroyable !! Nous avons commencé par l'expérience avec les vaches Highland, qui était exceptionnelle !! Nous avons tellement appris sur les vaches Highland et nous avons passé un moment formidable à faire leur connaissance ainsi que celle de Jack Jack ! Ensuite, c'était l'heure du gelato ! Sans hésiter, c'était l'un des meilleurs gelatos que j'aie jamais goûtés ! Nous avons passé la nuit à la ferme dans l'un des barndominiums. Le barndo était adorable et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin... il y avait même plus de gelato qui nous attendait dans notre congélateur à notre arrivée !! C'était très propre et le lit était très confortable !! La ferme est absolument magnifique. Nous avons adoré aller voir les poules et ramasser nos œufs, nous promener sur la propriété, pêcher et passer encore plus de temps avec les vaches Highland. Je reviendrai à 100 % !! What an awesome trip!! We started with the highland cow experience which was exceptional!! We learned so much about the highland cows & had the best time getting to know them & Jack Jack! Afterwards was gelato time! Hands down it was some of the best gelato I’ve ever had! We stayed the night on the farm in one of the barndominiums. The barndo was adorable and had every thing we needed..even more gelato that they had for us in our freezer when we arrived!! It was very clean & the bed was very comfortable!! The farm is absolutely gorgeous. We loved going over to the chickens and collecting our eggs, walking around the property, fishing & having more time with the highland cows. I 100% will be back!!

C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons ici lors de nos visites en famille, la maison de nos proches n'est qu'à 20 minutes. Le logement est très propre, spacieux, les chambres sont de bonne taille et la cuisine est bien équipée. La communication avec les propriétaires est excellente. Vous êtes à environ 20 minutes du supermarché, de Walmart et des restaurants. Je recommanderais sans hésiter cette propriété. Il n'y a rien que nous n'ayons pas aimé. This is our 2nd time staying here while visiting family, it’s only 20 minutes to there home. Very clean, roomy, nice size rooms & kitchen is stocked well. Communication with owners is wonderful. You are about 20 minutes from the grocery store, Walmart & restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property. There’s nothing that we didn’t like.

Installation incroyable. L'hôte n'a rien laissé au hasard. Les snacks et la glace étaient une attention appréciée. Les chambres ne pouvaient pas être mieux. Lits très confortables. La technologie était impressionnante et facile à utiliser. L'une des meilleures surprises que j'ai eues lors d'un premier séjour quelque part. Incredible set up. Host didn't miss a trick. Snacks and gelato were a nice touch. Rooms could not have been better. Very comfortable beds. Technology was off the charts and easy to use. One of the best surprises I have had staying somewhere for the 1st time.

Ma femme et moi avons eu le plaisir de passer une soirée ici pour fêter notre 10e anniversaire de mariage. La glace artisanale faite avec des ingrédients locaux était une excellente touche ! Nous avons profité d'une promenade le soir et le matin autour de la ferme, en admirant des paysages comme l'étang, les vaches Highland et les collines verdoyantes. Nous le recommandons vivement ! My wife and I had the pleasure of spending an evening here as part of our 10 year anniversary. The living space/bedroom is designed for comfort and aesthetics, but also has all the practical needs. We got to get some fresh eggs out of the egg hall for breakfast. The gelato with local ingredients was a great touch! We enjoyed an evening and morning walk around the farm, enjoying sights like the pond/highland cows/green rolling hills. We highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay very much! You all went above and beyond to make the stay special including access to the chicken and duck eggs, the gelato in the freezer, the popcorn supplies, waffle cookies, good linens, Nespresso machine, a cool swinging chair in the barndominium, etc. etc. Highly recommend this place!

The accommodations were wonderful, and every space well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Cedar Pond Farms, and when we do, we certainly will stay on the grounds at the Luxury Barndo's. We loved every second and highly recommend to everyone that they not pass up on an opportunity to stay here.
