Bespoke and elevated stays are our business in the Jefferson City area. Enjoy our Scottish Highland Farm with a European style apartment inside and a quaint barndominium style building outside. Everything you need from washer and dryer to a full kitchen. You will not be disappointed in this unit. With our full sized futon couch and our queen bed you can comfortably fit up to 4 guests. We are only 25 miles from the University of Tennessee and 3 Miles from Carson-Newman University.

We are the neighborhood. You have nearly 7 acres of barnyard to roam and enjoy. There are many restaurants within 5 miles, as well as shopping centers, Walmart, and a hospital. We are the perfect spot to be in the country, relax, and have all the conveniences of city life.

We recommend a car for travel to the lake or nearby shopping. We recommend pontoon boat rental from Black Oak Marina on Cherokee Lake (5 miles away) for the day. Another option is to go to Douglas Lake (15 miles away) for the day. There are several boat rental options there as well.

Nous avons adoré séjourner au barndo ! Nous étions en ville pour rendre visite à un ami à Knoxville et c'était l'emplacement parfait pour être à l'écart de l'agitation tout en profitant de la nature, tout en restant assez proche de Knoxville pour pouvoir y aller chaque jour ! L'espace était propre et accueillant, et l'extérieur était magnifique. Notre enfant de 15 mois a adoré rendre visite à tous les animaux et jouer dehors, même si Jack Jack était peut-être son préféré. Il tenait absolument à dire bonjour aux vaches chaque matin pendant que nous nous asseyions sur la balançoire pour les regarder paître. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment. We loved staying at the barndo! We were in town visiting a friend in Knoxville and this was a perfect location to be out of the hustle and bustle and get to enjoy the nature while still being close enough to Knoxville so we could visit daily! The space was clean and inviting and the outdoors were exquisite. Our 15th month old enjoyed visiting all the animals and playing outside, though Jack Jack may have been his favorite. He insisted on saying good morning to the cows everyday as we would sit in the swing and watch them grazing. We had a wonderful time.

Un cadre de ferme magnifique et paisible, tout en étant proche de la ville. J'ai absolument adoré le barndo ! L'endroit était superbe, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Très propre et doté de toutes les commodités modernes ainsi que de tous les articles essentiels. Just a beautiful and peaceful farm setting that's still close to town. Absolutely loved the barndo! The place was gorgeous inside and out. Very clean and full of modern conveniences and all essential items.

The place was spotless and cozy, and they even had fresh cold water waiting for us in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The catfish pond was beautiful, and getting to see the cows up close was awesome. The whole property had such a peaceful vibe. The only downside was the weather — it was colder than we expected — but that’s no fault of the host. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back when it’s warmer! Highly recommend.

We did encounter a small mishap when we went to lay down and rest, but the host responded immediately, was incredibly respectful, and quickly moved us into a new unit, making the situation completely stress free. The property was peaceful and quiet with beautiful scenery, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, especially the sweet treats waiting for us in the freezer and the option to collect fresh farm eggs. Everything was so easy, from check-in to knowing exactly where to go to gather eggs when we left. We would definitely recommend staying here and can’t say enough good things about how responsive, kind, and thoughtful the hosts are.

Endroit charmant où séjourner, avec de superbes paysages, je recommande vivement à tout le monde d'essayer au moins une fois. J'adorerais revenir. Nous sommes également allés voir les vaches Highland juste en face de chez nous, une activité que Shawn propose aussi en option payante. lovely place to stay, with great scenery, highly recommend for anyone to try at least once. I would love to come back. we also went to see the highland cows right across the street from us that Shawn also offers as something you can book and pay for.

La ferme est magnifique et nous a tout de suite fait nous sentir comme chez nous ! Tout était très propre et bien pensé. On pouvait deviner que l’hôte était un grand voyageur grâce à tous les équipements électroniques et à la praticité de tout dans le barndo. Merci encore ! Nous reviendrons ! The farm is beautiful and made us feel right at home! Everything was very clean and well thought out.
